Alasala’s ILI was established in 2016 under the original name English Language Institute (ELI). ILI offers English language training, English for Specific Purposes (ESP) for students requiring extra support in their study major classes, and IELTS programs for students, scholars, and the community. In addition to language, our program will develop and create independent learners who are critical thinkers and effective communicators. ILI at Alasala is accredited by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA), an independent body for the accreditation of higher education institutions and programs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. ILI agrees to uphold the NCAAA Standards for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Higher Educational Institutions.
ILI will offer courses during the academic year as well as summer courses.

Mission
The mission of the International Language Institute (ILI) at Alasala is threefold:
- To provide superior English language instruction to native speakers of other languages through excellent teaching, an engaging curriculum, and programs that support learning, collaboration, and community-building. Our activities prepare students for academic and professional success at Alasala and in broader local and global contexts.
- To serve the linguistic and professional development needs of Alasala and the greater community.
- To encourage respect for cultural and linguistic diversity through intercultural competence, professionalism, and collaboration both on and off campus to promote cultural understanding and overall student success.
Leadership Team
GSE will manage and operate ILI at Alasala and work closely with the Alasala General Supervision Office. The Head of Teachers will directly supervise ILI teachers and provide instructions. The Head of Students will directly support the students of ILI.
